Experience the magic of Kayaking the Bio Bay in Puerto Rico!
Launching from “Las Croabas” bay in Fajardo, Puerto Rico; we paddle our kayaks to an opening in the mangrove leading to a canal that starts the Bioluminescent excursion. 
Emerging from the canal our paddlers enter the Laguna Grande, the quiet darkness that surrounds us is the perfect viewing environment for the delicate light show put on by tiny organisms.
You may of heard about the magic of bioluminescence but seeing this unique phenomenon is truly a delight. Our paddle strokes disturb the water and cause the dinoflagellates to “light up”, creating a light show for us as we
explore “La Laguna Grande”. Fish swimming in the water are followed by a green trail, and sometimes a fish will make a splash, causing quite a display of color and excitement.
